Love it brother! I'm from Philippines. I wish I can play as good as you bro. I'm the keyboardist in our church and I can only play chords. And I find it really hard to play lead lines or talk music. Any tips that you can share bro?
@stuartisaacharrier6 ай бұрын
Thank you bro! I would encourage you to really focus on training your ears. Practice learning all of the Major intervals (Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Major 7th, & Octave)... Train your ears to hear the difference between each of those intervals. And then listen to a simple song like "King of Kings" by Hillsong Worship. That song has a very simple lead line for piano. Listen to the notes and then challenge yourself to find them on the keyboard. Let me know if that is helpful!

No idea what he’s doing with that right hand either. Nothing what the actual song sounds like. Worship music- play to the song. Get rid of that ugly sounding synth. You’re missing out on one of the best features of the song. C B A G E D C REPEAT IT. There’s gotta be a gallop to it. The band sounds like they got ran over by horses.

It was fantastic. Also, listening to it, I suddenly realized for the first time that if I were to write a new first verse would open the song up for anyone anytime. I think there are many other times in the lives of Christians where those lyrics could have an immense impact.

This has been my favourite hymn since I was 12/13 yrs old and I'm now 90. I have a Christian radio station on 24/7 and they play this hymn (not this version) at least once a day. This morning I learned that it was a young teenager who wrote the words as a poem after he gave his life to Christ. Surprisingly he died at age 27 yrs but his love song to Jesus has outlived him and will continue to do so till Christ's return for His Church. If you haven't yet, give your life over to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ - the Light of the World. Then let your light shine!
