Sri Hanuman Chalisa is indeed a very powerful mantra and will give you lot of benefits if you recite it with Bhakti But only reciting it without knowing the actual meaning and understanding ‘’Hanuman’’ is of no use and will not give you desired results as well Understand that Hanuman the name itself means, 'ह' madhla 'अनुमान' काढणारा. ह means आकाश. Every living being is alive due to this akaash(ether) but we never take a moment to understand this and be grateful for same. Refer Shlok from Sri Bhagwad Geeta adhyay 7 shlok 4 where the 5 elements have being described the same are आकाश, वायू, अग्नि,‌ जल, पृथ्वी. Thus आकाश is the first tatva from the pancha mahabhute and everything has been created from it. Thus though the characteristics are different in reality it is the same like आकाश Some of the qualities of Hanumanji are having true and eknishta bhakti towards Sri Ram and not leaving his Guru’s charan for any selfish motives. Understand that Ravan had the entire सोन्याची लंका. If you break the word लंका it's has ल which is the prithvi tatva and अंक means numbers. Even if Ravan had so much prosperity Hanumanji did not leave Ram's Charan for this prosperity or wealth. Further only being भक्त is not enough, we know that Ravan was also Shiv bhakta but he did not follow good principles. Being a true bhakta and having and following right principles in life is of utmost importance. If you are reciting Sri Hanuman Chalisa but don’t have this respect towards your Guru or bosses or if you are ready to leave your boss for your personal motives then are you really understanding Hanumanji and revering him Hanumanji is the one who is fearless, who can cross milestones for his Guru, who has extreme mental and physical strength, who is quick in doing his work. We all know from stories of Ramayan that Hanumanji when told by his Guru to bring the संजीवनी he did not give a second thought that whether he would be able to find it, whether he will be able to bring it, how should he go and where should he go, etc. He just went quickly and brought the entire पर्वत. This should be the Tatparta which you should have while doing Guru Karya. So don’t just recite for the sake of it but understand the meaning carefully and try to inculcate the qualities of Hanumanji within you which will works wonders for you I am writing this without any selfish motive and hope that you think on these lines and then recite Sri Hanuman Chalisa by knowing it’s true essence Hari Om Tat Sat 🙏🏻
