can anyone explain to me why PAE increases with Pin? how does nonlinearity increase power efficiency?

Thank you very much for the interesting video. I dont get it how you calculate the required power for the feedback amplifier. I understand how you get the 135W in slide 9 with the shown equation. I also understand it in slide 24: adding the missmatch loss to the DUT output power and consider the insertion loss. For 2 Ohm and 10 Watt is clear. Slide 9 is also for 2 Ohm but with 5 Watt DUT power and insertion loss not considered. The required power should be less (33.9W) compared to the example in slide 24. Both is for pure active systems.

How do you perform load pull on a 3 stage amplifier...most load pull I see is on a single transistor

Hello, I have some questions, 1. Why we can use pulse IV to avoid the trapping effect? 2. If we use narrow pulse width with short duty cycle, we can avoid the thermal effect actually. But in the application stage, the application would not always in pulse supply. For example, in 5G communication, the PA always working in CW mode. But the model is made by pulse. How should we consider the thermal effect in modeling?
