Sweet! I love how in top gear the tach and speedometer needles are parallel. Nice touch of engineering from Triumph!

motolife2000, man!! as drbo said, wishin you a speedy recovery and a quick return to the road but . . . bottom line, mate, if you continue to continually cross double lines in tight, twisty, mountain, speed up on the bumper of the kook car driver in front of you who already posesses the driving skills of a sheep, roll through stop signs like the F150 hurtling towards you at 60 mph will deposit you gently on the sidewalk - moto - YOU ARE GOING TO DIE !!! Learn from that one buddy, enjoy the ride.

Blinded by the light towards the end there... Bet you wished you hadn't polished all that chrome. Looked like an awesome day out!

From watching some of your vids I'm not all that surprised. I'm glad you're okay, but you should really be more careful man, you take too many risks and are a bit too impatient. Know your limitations. Hope you're doing well and are back out there, ride safe.

i'm no expert so why don't you let it spin over 4k rpm, you know to let it run a bit

I have ridden a 1550 cc Road King for over 7 years and I would like to go to a smaller more nible handling bike. I love the retro look of these bikes as I also used to own a 1970 Bonniville. But how does it do for long freeway cruises? Does the engine have to work too hard on the long hauls. . and how about the ergonimics of the seat and the controls for long trips? Thanks. . . Kirk

Where is this ride in the SC mountains? Is it Sand Hill or Farm Hill up to Woodside? I used to ride my 68 Bonnie from Saratoga up to Woodside in the early 70's, then back down Page Mill to Stanford. Now in Wash State. Nice ride.

Did you break/fracture anything? Triumph Scrambler eh? Sweet bike hope it's ok lol.

You can pass lots of places between Woodside and the turn down to Saratoga. Skyline is sweetest during the week when no traffic.

Looks like a fun road. Don't solid double yellow lines mean no passing though?

I used to run this route by foot from Green St over to sausalito years ago. It was a good stretch of the legs. Now that i see it done by my most favorite Bike (Bonneville) it looks really Cool!

Thanks for the video. It's been almost a year since I've been able to ride/drive these roads, and I miss them every day. Hope someday soon I'll be able to get back up into the hills again.

I've taken that road many times. It is best in August and September with a side trip to Muir Beach. Would love to ride it on a Bonnie.

To each his own- I liked the soundtrack. I'm working on getting on a bonnie again and your vids are a great reminder of why I need to get back on one. Thanks!!!
