The last Scrum Guide (2020) do not use the Grooming term. Is this practice still part of Scrum ? thank you
@annaz75422 жыл бұрын
It is part of Scrum, however, it was collectively decided to avoid the word grooming. By definition, grooming is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with someone so they can manipulate, exploit and/or abuse them. It is up to all of us to embrace the word Refinement as much as possible :) Hope this helps.

Thank you for posting this video. You were able to answer a few of my questions for an idea that I would like to have developed. The one thing I would like to know is how a Software Dev company ensures the integrity of the code so that no backdoors or things are left in the program that aren't supposed to be there?

1 When you say the owners. Are you referring to the product owner.? 2: when should the sprint be interrupted? 3. What should be done as a result?

Okay, but you didn’t answer the question in the title

Hi Eli! Thanks for your comment. I apologize that it took so long to reply. I'm sorry our video wasn't clear. Backlog grooming is like all the prep work you do before a race. The sprint planning is the race itself. We have a blog post about it if you'd like to read more about it here.. www.zibtek.com/blog/backlog-grooming-and-sprint-planning-whats-the-difference/ Have a great weekend!
