I have the same problem. It does grind, but it show it doesn’t. I think the sensor that detect the coffee after the grind is broke or dirty

I've had to replace the motor - even though it works. Mine is about 8 years old. Ground coffee dust makes its way into the motor and causes problems. I blew it out with the compressor and it helped, but the problem was still there intermittently. A replacement motor was $37 and my machine is as good as new again - it works every single time now!

@@hardiebotha5476 I replaced the motor and it was working but only if I was grinding not more than two offe beans. But now after 2 months I have the same problem. It is strange because if during the grinding I open and close the. Beans’s lid 2 -3 times I don’t have any alarm. I belive that the system recognize the coffee only by monitoring the motor’s current. And I guess the amperage’s reading is wrong

@@sharonhenry3135 I did it myself - it was not super difficult. It might not be your cup of tea :) if you're not at least moderately technically inclined. It was a little time-consuming, but not too bad.
