1.he burns wood to ash 2.he filters the ash 3.he mixes water in the filtered ash and boils it to dissolve all the pottasium carbonate in the water 4.he filters the boiled water by using a cotton and gravity by putting the water on height 5.he takes the filtered water and adds calcium nitrate in it so that the pottasium carbonate turns into pottasium nitrate 6.then he filters the water again with cotton and gravity 7.he left the water to dry out to get pottasium nitrate crystals
