its cool but the chords being off beat in some places throws it off

Gotcha 👍 Notice how it falls into place with the melody. It’s not off beat, it’s syncopated in a way. It’s just a way of making the harmonic rhythm more interesting and adding uniqueness.

Sounds good man. I really like the sounds you picked too! One thing I noticed is that it sounds like you just removed the sound at 23s like you used a lowpass filter and went 0 to 100. It would have sounded better if you reintroduced it with a curve automation so we can gradually hear the music come back. Maybe add a crusher just for that second so you get that crunchy sound before it returns to normal. Another thing is that you could've added hi-hats for when it loops a second time, around when pattern 24 starts. To make it sound fuller and I feel it also can make the beat sound faster. I have no clue what I'm doing when making music so this is just some random thoughts.

Edit: THIS COMMENT IS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT 😂 >>> Very nice thoughts! Love that idea! Yeah I never tried to build this into a track at all, and yeah I would add a lot more interest in different areas, but yeah those ideas sound very solid! Stay tuned for when I use this in a future project! (I will keep your ideas in mind :))

Ye I get what you mean. If I’m not gonna make anything more with a beat, who cares right. When I heard you faded out the sound like that I was just thinking. Why did he do it that way and not the normal way.

Please note that this is not mixed for mobile. The drums and bass sound pretty poor on mobile, so keep that in mind. If you really care, you might like listening through headphones/monitors if you have/would like to use them.

Definitely relaxing. Ethereal, even. But with the added high-paced notes, it's indicative of more happening behind the scenes. Gives me the impression of an atmospheric but illusory utopia operated under the surface by thousands of miles of complex circuitry. It actually reminds me very strongly of something out of Rain World, if anyone here's familiar with that aesthetic.

@@dzmo-official nah I mean your sound selection in general is more akin to future bass very airy and even if a genre is “melodic” it doesn’t need to lack impact. Just listen to dariacore for instance heavy drums and sound design but still melodic.
