You seemed ashamed of buying from a charity shops. Their is no shame and when you go out you go to a pub you drink from a glass others have drank from
@thebrownielife295715 сағат бұрын
Absolutely no shame at all, I was actually trying to promote that more people should buy from charity shops. I definitely grew up buying many things from charity shops, I just mean now that there are places such as Primark for maybe cheap clothes, possibly not as much need to buy clothes etc. I also do have a thing with germs...so I just meant some things I wouldn't buy personally from a charity shop necessarily and the glass I did buy I clearly washed out. The purpose of my video was to promote this way of buying for definite and most certainly to get some Christmas bargains. Hope you still enjoyed the video, thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi Laura, morning! I love how creative you’ve been , gives that extra personal, touch 😍 It all doesn’t need to be expensive either , just a little something that makes it look a bit more special! I’ve never EVER used shredded tissue paper just always scrunched up the flat sheets & wrapped a gift or placed scrunched in a box etc but I love ❤️ the base layer of shredded you’ve done and then bringing it together at the top! The crackers are fab too! Happy weekend 😊 x
@thebrownielife29573 күн бұрын
Aw thanks Debbie, great you liked it...like you say just little bits that can make a gift more special. Oh gosh I have lots on this weekend, with Christmas Pressie wrapping - getting all those gifts ready for Santa plus lot of other things keeping us busy right now so don't feel there are enough hours in a day!. Me & Emily just filmed something for our videos next week so keep watching.xx

Awww they're so cute. Especially the crackers. When you pulled out that shredded paper I said out loud " the works £3" before you said it. I was in there yesterday looking for that christmas cellophane you had but they had none so I had to use the clear one I already have. It was to make those chocolate lint ball wreath gifts everyone is making on tiktok and youtube . I use 12 hole cup cake boxes the ones with windows with little gifts for my grown up nieces and sister in law. I put a mini bottle of wine, fluffy socks, bath bomb, candle, hot chocolate sachets face masks a gift card usually for Costa or Starbucks. Some lint chocs ball and choc coins and a candy cane. I get their name on a vinyl sticker things off amazon and put it on the window bit. I'm all done now. Just need to get the family who live with me their chocolate gifts (selection boxes, chocolate oranges and such) because the kids will sniff them out and eat them if I buy to early. I've even bought all my grandsons birthday presents and clothes for his 2nd birthday on the 30th of December x

Oh my gosh you are very organised Tracey, well done you. It's a great feeling when you get everything done and you can just chill for the rest of the time. We will be taking a break over Christmas and coming back with some exciting videos in January. Still next's week's video....and your idea with the Christmas Stockings is the next video Weds. Your cupcake box Christmas Gift presentation sounds lovely, great ideas for anyone looking at the comments. There are so many social media fun things to do this Christmas, great to try some of them out. Thanks so much for watching x

Just thought a gift to donate could be a voucher for going to the cinema? 😊
@thebrownielife29574 күн бұрын
Great idea, but not sure if it has to be more of an item such as a toy rather than something that has monetary value to it such as a ticket. Certainly something you could ask at B&M, but although a lovely idea personally I think they will say actual gift presents only. Thanks so much in watching and commenting.

I love charity shops, we went today. I buy clothes for the kids from there too, can I afford to buy new!!! Yeah, but kids wears grow out of clothes so quickly that if I can buy practically new clothes for them for 1 or 2 pound then I'm going to. I wouldn't buy shoes from there tho because that kinda gives me the ick. My granddaughter likes searching for my little pony's in the big boxes of odd toys they always have for like 30p each. She loves it. I've picked a little toy up every time I've been in b&m the last couple of weeks (which has been about 6 times because I work opposite a b&m) I didn't even think to get a teanage boy. So thankyou for pointing that out. I'll go tomorrow and grab a few bits to donate x
@thebrownielife29576 күн бұрын
That's so good you regularly go to a Charity Shop, such good causes. The B&M Mission Christmas, Cash for Kids is such a good thing - really did hit home when we were thinking of a Teen Boy. It gave both me and Emily purpose in what we were doing, to do something good and give back and by doing this video - even it only reaches a small audience, any publicity for good causes is something. Thanks for watching...getting closer to Christmas!.xx

Awwww this is such a lovely video. You both look like you've had a good start to December. We've just started doing Christmas things in our house too. Got my tree up tonight and put lights on ready for kiddos to decorate tomorrow. Then baking cakes and cookies tomorrow to take to santa who's going to my brothers house (my brother won't be there till after santa has gone tho 😉) We've written letters to santa and watched the grinch cartoon version on repeat cos grandkids are to little to sit through the likes of home alone yet. We've also got lots of adverts in this house too, we've got peppa pig chocolate advent a paw patrol gifts one with like bobbles and jewellery and hair clips in. We've got 2 build a bear ones (highly recommend these they are amazing well worth the money, altho we got them in the black Friday sale so much cheaper) we've got a candle one and two adult chocolate advents too. Hope your both well and looking forward to celebrating the rest of the festive period x
@thebrownielife295710 күн бұрын
Your Advents sound great, especially the Build a Bear for kids. Lovely you are having a great Christmas start with the kiddies, so special with little ones isn't it. It's all about the special times, baking, having fun, decorating things or just watching a movie. You have to enjoy every minute don't you when they are little. You still get special times when they are older but it does change somewhat, but still I try to capture those magical times with Emily when I can. Not long to go now...thanks as always in watching, enjoy the rest of your weekend.xx

Not stayed in Corralejo Beach before but seems quite popular and you are in the heart of Corralejo there. About a 10 min walk to Harbour one way and another 10 walk the other way to the top of the high street towards the Water Park so pretty central location there. You will have a great time in Corralejo, lots of lovely places to eat, sunshine and chilled atmosphere. Check out the Pizza place VIVI that I mention in this video, it's really close to your Hotel. Also check out the rest of our videos in our playlist for Corralejo 2024 but also Corralejo 2022, you might get some useful tips. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to watch.

Thanks for watching!, not long now til the Christmas period will be approaching - hope you are well, I think I am getting there with Christmas...now at least I can dash around all the shops with my new boots ha ha x
@traceymcardle89613 күн бұрын
Ooooh I've got those boots I've also got the primark ugg type ones too which I think we're about £9, I'm also a size 8 and I broke my big toe in fuerteventura going down the water slide with the baby so I'm currently living in primark comfy boots whilst it heals. I also use those lipsticks, I dab a little setting powder on afterwards and it tends to last most of the day. I can't really comment on reading labels cos my eyesight is terrible and I refuse to wear glasses so I'm always squinting to see things. Hope your all OK and enjoying the magic of the run up to Christmas x
@thebrownielife295713 күн бұрын
Hi x I am not sure about magic, rather than chaos ha ha. Of course everything is magical but I feel like I am chasing my tail everyday at the minute, but that's life isn't it and I would rather be busy and have people around me, doing KZbin and having lovely comments from people like yourself than lonely at Christmas with nothing to do and no one to spend it with, so I know I am lucky...just busy and lucky ha ha. I was blown away with how good the Boots are, how comfy etc. The Ugg type ones didn't fit me the same, so were not good for my feet. Really good tip about the lipstick, thanks xx Oh not good about the toe!, hope you managing. xx

This time of year is always crazy isn't it. Just think of christmas day and spending quality time with your family and seeing emilys face opening her presents thatll make it all worth it.Toes OK might need a little op but nothing major it's just a little wonky now. I can live with a wonky toe as long as I can fit into Normal shoes again. X

Wow the difference painting the doors made. Room looks beautiful. Well done you. £45 is really good for that tree. We paid £130 for a 6ft tree on sale from John Lewis a few years ago (we had vouchers from our wedding that were running out) we could of got the snowy one for a extra £20 but we knew it would be messy so we got some really pretty ornaments instead. X

I love tk max at Christmas. I've bought lots of toys and clothes for both grandkids some decorations and love the bamboo socks from there too. My daughter was obsessed with strawberry shortcake when she was tiny and she's only 24 now. She had a giant strawberry shortcake soft toy which was bigger than her. Emily's going to be very happy with all the little bits you got her. And I'll be interested to see what your doing with the calming gifts you bought. I got a 70 year old lady in my secret santa in work so I'm going to do her a Cosy nights in hamper with a blanket, hot water bottle,mug,hot chocolate and some chocolate x

By the way everyone watching, just to note the Christmas cups that are shown in this video will be for a 1st December gift...I have always done quite a few Christmassy themed gifts for Emily on 1st December with Advents too - this year much smaller gifts but these are one of them, then she gets use out of them given Christmas themed and can then put away for next year...although think they would still be great as a winter cup design to get through Jan/Feb time too. Enjoy the video guys...just thought I would point this out as not much use out of winter/Christmas themed cup if you get it at Christmas itself. Thanks to Amy in the comments...she remembered what I was trying too in the video...I was referring to a Stanley!.x

Oh bless you, you sound so poorly. Hope your feeling a bit better now. Try your best to try slow down a little. I know it's easier said than done but best to slow down and not get some things done than to burn yourself out completely and get nothing done. Love all the little bits you got. I got loads and loads of them fluffy socks in different colours some for me and the rest for present fillers to go with main presents. I think a christmas stocking shopping challenge with Emily could be fun. Set a budget choose a shop then shop for each other could make it more interesting by giving a list like. Something they'll like, something they want, something they need something in their favourite colour, something to eat, something to wear. Things like that. A gingerbread decorating challenge could be fun too see who decorates theirs the best. I'm sure whatever you've got lined up video wise will great tho they always are x

Hi Tracey, Happy Weekend!. The PJ's in Primark are great, watch the next video out tonight - Jumpers & PJ's and our funny TRY ON!. Ikea trips are a nightmare. I feel like I lose 3-4 hours of my life everything I go. I love what I buy but it just feels like a chore. The meatballs are OK but wouldn't make a special trip just for them. I've never tried wingstop I don't think. Laura your catchphrase could be "just for you guys" and Emily's " I don't care,I've found a chair" did you buy any christmas bits in the end? X
@thebrownielife2957Ай бұрын
It was great in there, as in I was impressed with many of the bigger items - we did purchase a few piece of furniture but not any Christmas things in the end. I have heard so much about the Meatballs in the cafe...so maybe given the hype just felt a bit disappointed. Overall, love IKEA just took me a while to get head around the concept, would definitely go again and shop but maybe not the Meatballs ha ha. Glad you liked our little chat about our motto's...love the ones you came up with.xx
