Turns out if you want to dual-boot, you don't even need that, if only I knew that before." yeah I am confised about this part,what does it actually do then? what do you lose by not soldering this? is this so that it will boot automatically into hekate withou having to hols power and vol+?and then you hold some other button or combo to boot into OFW? I have a lie with SXOS lite chip ,I had it professionally installed, it boots to SXOS automatically when you power it on so I assume that soldering those points will do something similar with atmosphere or heakate and if you don't then you have to hold the power and volume is that correct? or do you need to use an RCM jig on the joycon rail still fi you don't solder those points? also I just looked at the guide and the alternative points look really easy , nice isolated test pads for vol + were these not known about yet when you di your install?

@@Kamil-DIY ok kinda what I thought, didn't really understand the stuff about the home button though, but if you do solder the vol + strap so it boots automatically into CFW then what do you have to hold to make it boot to OFW? I forget what it is for my lite and SX lite chip There must be some button combo for booting to OFW then

What's the black thing for, is not short circuiting GND and 3v? Do you have any guide to follow this method? Is too difficult to solder that points, specially the 3v?

Hi!! Thanks mate. So to sum up, just solder like you did and introduce the 2 files in two steps pushing that magnetic switch and that's all? The console should be hacked and with the autoRCM on before starting this procedure? I am planning to implement atmosphere

@@Kamil-DIY Wow thanks for all the info. I hope I could do it. The magnetic after all should be removed? I have seen the diagram and, if I am not wrong, with autorcm, I should weld 5 wires (3V, GND, D+, D-, D4). Just the 3V scares me, it is a leg of the chip and seems so diff. I am not the best one welding.

@@Kamil-DIY In which case, it would be great to run IPFS because it is a quadcore and thereby it can do the blake2b hashing required. Imagine lots of people using ipfs on thier nintendo-switches, all using some online wifi or similar internet connection. A usb etherbet dongle and webcam (so a ps2 eyetoy or ps3 equivalent camera would do).

@@Kamil-DIY Ohh. Thanks for the info. But I want a suggestion from you. In my country, I can get someone selling a Jailbroken V1 Switch at $355. Should I buy it or invest the money to get a better CPU to emulate the Switch games on PC by YUZU?

@@Kamil-DIY Yeah. I am really confused about whether I can run every good switch games on the emulator though. And the Jailbroken Nintendo Switch is rare these days since the Team Xecuter sued by Nintendo and the launch of Mariko and Lite. What do you think of the lifetime of Nintendo Switch would be? I do own a Mariko Nintendo Switch and planned to sell it and invest the money from that sale to the Jailbroken V1 Switch. What do you think of it would be a good decision?

So you installed chip first and then flash it from the switch's usb type c? Did you need a magnet?

@@Kamil-DIY yeah but for the trinket there is a lot of prep work involved you have to desolder the USB port and an LED and/or a resistor too , then clean it up and then the worst part is that you have to try and solder to the tiny pas for the micro USB data lines that are under where you remove the micro USB connector from the trinket looks really hard to solder to those2 pads as they right next to each other and very small looks like a nightmare to do

@@Kamil-DIY yeah I just went ahead and ordered a RCM MK8 from Ali The one I just ordered was like $12 The board is white and it comes with some wires but I don't see any magnetic reed switch But I have like 10 of them I ordered before when I was going to attempt the joycon mod for the RCM mod , but I didn't like the look of it when I opened it up and chickened out since my iron is a POS They look different than the ones is the kits that look like black rectangular components, they are the little glass tube ones and are normally open configuration , hopefully this version can use a reed switch and mine will work But I am not even sure why I would even need to reflash it anyway ,can't you just change the payload bon on the SD or chain load what you need ,never really understood the need to flash the chips like flashing SXOS with spacecraft ,I mean you can just chain load atmosphere from SXOS can't you ? I am still using SXOS because there is not external HDD support for atmosphere and I haven't found any games that I can't patch for lower FW yet , I have a lite with SXOS lite and an OG HAC-001 with SX pro , but I just got another HAC-001 for practically Free And I know it is only a matter of time before there will be games that won't run so I plan on setting this one up with atmosphere And maybe experimenting with dual boot to SXOS if I can do the SXOS license hack And I can use my pro license file as a donor Since this switch is still on 10.2.0

@@Kamil-DIY thanks for letting me know, a seller was selling me this dongle and said that it was compatible with the NS v2 Mariko patch. Good thing I didn’t fall for it.
