Mike - I have tears of delight, gratitude and admiration for your courage and resilience in my eyes!!! Keep on going strong- you make all of us smile and remember that today’s society and life’s curveballs are a mere reflection of the Universe’s humor ‘just to keep it interesting and prove yet again WE GOT THIS’. Keep on going and playing music- it inspires!!! You are an inspiration!!!

Losing your 18 yr old dog is so hard.
@Gretchen5446Ай бұрын
@plantlove5257 I actually lost my 13 year German Pointer 7 days after he said that. For years, I ran with that dog listening to Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell. I balled my eyes out for a big part of the show like a baby after he said that , and Mike kept standing in front of me, playing like he was trying to comfort me.

He almost looks sick here. One of my all time favorite bands. Never wanna meet Mike Ness in person, but I definitely hope we get a few more rock n roll albums out of him.

I remember being in rehab and the cook used to crank music when we were coming in for lunch, I heard him playing this song, one day I was so fkn down and out in the head I asked him if he could play this for me and I'd help wash some dishes.. he said get your ass in here!!

@thepennsylvanian9280 Nice story. Thank you for sharing that. Social Distortion has been there for so many of us during the darkest times. I love hearing those stories.

I was 15 when I heard this song for the first time! There was a chanel called the video jukebox you called put in your number for your song! The wait was worth it to, because I got to be exposed to lots of different music styles. That's how I got exposed to S.C , after that , I made a few calls and put in the number and waited. Who ever exposed me to this great song. Thank you very much! At almost 50 this song brings a tear to my eye.

From a lude boy punk to a wannabe convict, greaser, 1930's gangster to a reminiscing old man with a hair transplant. It's better to burnout than fade away. You're fading hard, clown.
