I don't know how you feel..but I'm not 100% happy the way maggie/snake/Brain fit into the expansion plastic.. a little tight and snake/brains hands are higher out of the plastic insert.

Interesting video! I never knew that this great movie had been given what looks to be a decent boardgame treatment! Ah, Maggie! Actress Adrienne Barbeau has starred in many movies. One if my favourites is the 1981? movie Cannonball Run. Adrienne was one of the ladies driving the black Lamborghini Countach. ❤ Regarding the Heroes miniatures box, i think the designers made a mistake with the custom font they used: Having the snake represent the letter O in HEROES unfortunately makes it appear to say HERPES, as the snake looks more like a letter P 😂

I backed this game and I like it a lot. The whole Queens Game radio silence thing sucked, but they did deliver in 2 months. I’ve kinda got into the Kickstarter thing since October or November of last year. My questions are, have you backed more than 30? Because I need to know if I have a problem and also are there any that you are really excited to get? Firefighters on Duty might be my most anticipated game right now.

Just got my kickstarter edition in (no wash) and I gotta say that wash is barely noticeable on camera. It looks like they also did a white drybrush on top, which only really helps on some colors. It's much more prominent on the darker ones. My only gripe is with the storage. I appreciate the effort they put into making useful storage, but my player trays feel very flimsy and the slots for the outposts in particular do very little to keep them upright. I found that the lids kept trying to slip off even just pulling them out of the box, and that would end up shifting all the outposts since they also indent partially into the lid. Whenever a game has an organizer like this, I always want to see some kind of guide to show what goes where. It is a minimal cost (a sheet of paper) but can really save some headaches for the players in the long run. Every game with an organizer should have a guide like that. Given the player count I also find it odd that there are only 2 player aids. I see that they are large and made of a very nice linen finished paper but perhaps a less expensive paper could have been used to get more of them. Otherwise, I think the game looks great. The minis are fantastic, the art is beautiful and I think the gameplay is going to be fun as well.

Ok some corrections I can’t believe I missed. Thanks for those who pointed it out. 1. The network markers go in a little space under the wale tail. 2. The resource pieces go in the individual player boxes where I had the network tokens. 3. The networking “keys” all fit where I put the resources next to the first player area. All the big ends go to one side. 4. The ABCD markers fit great sideways. The way I had it kind of fit but was too tight.

The four player control markers go under the whale tails. There are two recessed slots that will fit two pieces each. The spot you had them in this video will house the player board resources(krill, coin, etc.). The tray with the round tracker and wheel token will house the big network tokens(the ones you put in bags) with the large side of them facing right so that the tray will lock them in when the lid is on. It all locks in very well.

Me and my friends loves this game. Last night we played ep5 with Dagon as Elder one. Do i need to say my plans of posting pics from that night changed because we lost in 3rd round or it's obivous?

The markers in the setup tray (27min) go in the player trays where you have the player markers. I'd love to know where those markers were intended to go but i have mine in a bag and keep them on top of the player tray. The insert is so close to being good but some disappointing bits are holding it back. Super bummer that the player trays don't snap together.

Thanks! Mimicked your style rather than the ks updates. Suggestion: anytime i have the cardboard pieces, i stick them underneath the insert. So i know they will always be with the game but out of sight. You can kinda fit them under the card wells.

Great video! I rearranged my box to mimic yours, and it fits ways better. Thank you! Also, it feels like missing the metal coins at first seems to be par for the course I did the same thing.

Did you mean to say Talisman for the charms? :) Also, for those who don't have a playmat, if you want to make a tighter fit, pull the insert out put a punched out sheet on the bottom, then put the insert back in with everything. Makes for a super tight fit.

'True fan' doesn't matter. If you have a desire to have more references or be more accurate to the og then great. If you don't and you are happy with what you have done, then great again. I went a bit autistic and got screenshots of each character and had the game open to reference and colour matched, but I don't expect anyone else to do that hahaha. The minis look good and I am sure they will look the part when on the table.

You can actually spend food during the exploration phase to move people from exhaust to rest (therefore freeing up spaces on the convoy). You don't need to wait for the rest phase. Other often overlooked rules are that you can explore with several characters banded together, and you can exhaust characters to repair damage rather than exploring.

More of a conversation than a review. The explanation of all the mechanics was needed. No idea what makes up a turn, apart from some sort of worker placement and resource gathering. The reasons for the player’s tableaux? Icons on the board? Movement? All the other boards? The reasons for the buildings and their types? There centre building and the tiles, and it looks like there was some sort of upgrade options? What was the goal/winning conditions? Nice conclusion though, getting the player’s opinions. I still think you need some sort of script or plan with bullet points. Also the filming of the board could have been right side up. Was a good paint job though. And I did enjoy the conversation. Cheers.

The fact that the All-In Sundrop edition for $400 has a missing piece (Monkey figurine) annoys me to no end as a completionist. This one minor thing has made me hate this project. I would have been fine if the plastic holder didn't have an empty spot. Oof. Portal games, never again.

Her play of the Shiny card at 25:00 is incorrect because it was the card she just gained during token resolution. The only way she could have done this is if she actually had another copy in her hand prior to the start of token resolution. (She would be playing the copy she already had, even if though she physically played the one she just gained. That actually happened a few minutes earlier when you played Mmm Pie and Shiny cards you gained during token resolution, but we can see that you hand copies of those cards prior to token resolution.) Unless players pay careful attention or have a house rule to keep any cards separated that were gained during token resolution until the end of the turn, it's easy for players to play cards they shouldn't either accidently or intentionally.

Thanks for the video. I’m on the fence between the washed and non washed buildings. The washed version seems rather dark and “dirty” on screen. Did you get the same feeling IRL? Do you think it would be relatively easy to just do a simple homemade lighter wash on them?
