That´s the music Belgians hear when they call the helpdesk of Proximus, a local internet, tv and phone provider. I associate it with wrecked nerves due to complicated data transmission misery.

'Lyrics' of this song: "Das Spielhaus (concert hall) ... Bayreuth (German city) ... Richard Wagner ... Wagner Richard" and on and on :) The concert/music hall (Festspielhaus) was especially built for Wagner. Nice to notice: Wagner was an ardent anti-semite/ jew hater. No wonder Adolf Hitler adored him :) But Wim Mertens has nothing to do with that kind of shit, he's an adorable, well known Belgian composer/musician. Listen to his other stuff too, like 'Struggle for Pleasure', 'Close Cover', 4 mains etc. (played at the same performance at the Roma in Antwerp). Also check out Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, a world famous choreographer (inspired by/big admirer of Pina Bausch). She often uses minimalistic music in her performances. Discover this too, you won't regret (if you like minimalist music and dance): kzbin.info/www/bejne/i16cpmCvjrNjeK8: Steve Reich - Violin Phase (piece of 'Fase: Four Movements to the Music of Steve Reich, a sort of 'four seasons' for modern dance. Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker solo, music: Steve Reich kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKfPlmCbaad9nM0: Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker - Fase (Four Movements to the Music of Steve Reich) (1982) Full version, approx. 53 minutes (original, bit blurry) AND: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYKmhZV5mLirn9U: Rosas danst Rosas (original, bit blurry), world famous classic and copied around the world, often obligated/imposed stuff at dance academies. All kinds of interpretations/adaptations on KZbin/the internet. Yep, from Belgium too :)
