diatomacious earth is meant to be top dressed into your soil. But won't solve the problem. it works for other bugs though. Neem seed meal made into a tea works. if your plants aren't consumable then bits works. But if it's cannabis, you can't put it on during flowering.

Its a little small for a gecko like this size. He needs a bigger enclosure. He at least needs a place which is bigger in with. The hight is ok.

Currently researching and watching all sorts of videos on specifically garter snake bioactives for when I eventually upgrade my pair, I liked this one a lot especially the incorporation of plants and grasses that they would naturally encounter! Your setups here are truly like living works of art and also everything a garter could ask for! Nice video

You can also use microbe lift works great. Mosquito bites work great too though so you're good. I think you'll get more bang for your buck how does a microbe lift because it's for big ponds and you only got to put like an ounce in a water at a time and you can just spray it on the soil.

my sister got me one as a gift for taking care of her pets, i don’t get the tarantula untill monday but since it was so unexpected im doing as much research as i can. i dont know its gender so that’ll be a surprise. i’ve owned jumping spiders but i know their very different. and since that i love handling spiders i need to know the maurisums and such, bc obviously i dont want to be bitten. but since this spider is a baby im sure ill have time to domesticate and make the spider used to being held. i cant wait to own my dream spider!!

Do you feed your rat snake in the bin to discourage them from striking at you when you take them out of their enclosure? Or to avoid eating substrate accidentally? Or was this mostly because the enclosure needed a clean?

Great video. Very informative. It's cool how many species and color options there are for garters! Very underrated snakes. I imagine they'd be great for someone who wants a more active snake to watch explore, since many snakes like ball pythons are pretty low energy.
