Your welding skills are great. One other thing that would have helped would be to wrap the internals with a sheet of fiberglass.

@@desertmetalfab3170 do you think there is a hack job way to do this without having to weld anything? Maybe some kind of adhesive on the ends?
@desertmetalfab3170 Жыл бұрын
Nothing thats going to hold up no. I would just do everything you can and just find a local welding shop that can weld them up.

Great video, thx so much!! Q: In the original exhaust , does the inner pipe go the full length? Can i keep it that way but shortened (cut the inner to match the outer length)?
@desertmetalfab3170 Жыл бұрын
Yes the inner pipe is the full length, you have to cut the same amount off of the inner pipe that you do in the outer. Check out my part one video, it shows what I pulled out of the exhaust when I cut it apart

I’m 5’10”. Scout bobbers are small bikes, probably looks bigger because of the angle of the video. Comfortable bike for my size.

Why would you need the tool though? Why not just use both hands to press both buttons together? Also is there a way to permanently disable it?
@natewuester1615 Жыл бұрын
Because both buttons have to be held while turning the key. If both hands are holding a button down, then what hand turns the key?
