He was still using The Lionsault yes but he was finishing matches with the enzuigiri so I believe that's the logic behind the choice

I hate how they didn't add him giving his glasses away after he enters the rings. They used to have it in previous games. Also, he doesn't kiss his belt when he's a champion.
