well maybe if you used 320kb/s mp3's that weren't converted with a shitty as fuck convertor, then your mp3's would sound good too.

Great demo. But most people are deaf or not bothered, (by anything!) or lazy or brainwashed etc. Thanks for this. Quad esl57 Magneplanars, Sennheiser 580, Transcriptors Transcriber, Valve and transistor amps, and You Tube (which I listen to most as its easy. Regards, Mike.

Definitely AAC 320 doesn't sound like that. Also, you cannot hear lossless signal through KZbin.. Nice try

It's obvious that we're comparing a <128k source to >=192k source here. Although the difference between lossless and <128k is enormous, this video is misleading. I'll give you props for lossless streaming support though.

@endrizo10 жыл бұрын
What is the maxinum audio quality that youtube offers?? We are hearing youtube here. flac or ape lossless is much much better than mp3 no doubt.if you cannot tell the diference its time to improve your speakers and or soundcard.

This video only shows the difference in quantity of sounds. It does not show the difference in the quality of the sounds, since it's also compressed by KZbin.

This shit is obviously not biased or the MP3s butchered. High bitrate mp3 files are actually quite good.
@Jensijensjens10 жыл бұрын
Det som er gjort i denne KZbin-videoen, er å vise forskjellen på en skikkelig dårlig MP3 og en helt ok MP3. Rent lureri. Ja, det er forskjell på MP3 og FLAC, men forskjellen er mindre enn dette.

You can hear up to 384 kbps with stereo sound and 512 kbps with 5.1 if you put the video quality 720p or above, although you can only hear 128 kbps if you have mono sound

Why did they not have a link to let you download a copy of the MP3 192, 320, and FLAC to try flipping back and forth at home if they have such confidence that MP3 320 vs. FLAC is discernible to the music listening public... Hint... It's not that easy.

What about same sound for home theater? You must pay for a HDMI receiver though. 500.00 is pretty cheap that's the cost of a blu-player home theater set-up. Lossless wants you to. The file speaks the truth about when it isn't.
@PeterMacPL10 жыл бұрын
Hmmm maybe I'm dull :) but on my good system I can't hear difference between AAC VBR@320kbps(iTunes codec) vs FLAC. I think it's not possible to catch differences between this two formats even if one is lossy. Of course between MP3 and FLAC is big difference, specially if we talking about for example MP3 CBR 192kbps and FLAC.

Zgaś wszystkie ulepszenia dźwięku w windzie, daj trochę głośniej i załóż jakies troche lepsze słuchawki.

Bare styr.

This is obviously for demonstration only. If you truly are a audio professional you should value WIMPs initiative. I'm a happy Spotify-user and i'm not switching to WIMP anytime soon, but I appreciate that some companies think in quility and offer that to their customers.
@TLindegaardDK11 жыл бұрын
depends on your equipment. If you use an iPhone or surround system with 7 speakers that totally costed US$600, then no, you probably cant hear the difference. However, this product is for people who value hifi, and there are quite a few people who have spent more than $6000 on two speakers and an amplifier - for those/us, yes there's a soundable difference.
