I stuck at the Cloud build. Now it requires to add Service. Struggling to create one. Overall is good but can update the contents to reflect the google cloud changes. tks

For some reason I am having problem when I run the trigger .Goggle says : Failed to trigger build: generic::invalid_argument: if 'build.service_account' is specified, the build must either (a) specify 'build.logs_bucket', (b) use the REGIONAL_USER_OWNED_BUCKET build.options.default_logs_bucket_behavior option, or (c) use either CLOUD_LOGGING_ONLY / NONE logging options

How can we add manual approval trigger if we add additional step to deploy to prod cloud run via same cloud build yaml file just after dev or staging deployments?
@seanZG8 ай бұрын
For me it fails everytime, nightmare. I get artifact upload permission errors so when setting up through the wizard my builds fail when cloud build tries to push the new image to artifact. Then I customise the trigger post initial fails I can get an image to container registry, but then my triggers don't push anymore to cloud run after I customise the trigger. I am so fed up, spent 3 days on this service. What a absolute shocker of an experience.

When I add push to my yaml I get the error "denied: Caller does not have permission or the resource may not exist 'read'. To configure permissions" How does one fix that? Thanks for a great tutorial

That was a great video. Friendly feedback, you could cut your webcam so it was just a square in the bottom-right corner, I think you did realize this but it was probably too late in the editing process.

Hello, great video. I am having similar situation but a bit more complex - I need to be able to create a new environment for testing every time the devs need it - fast, easy and automated. How would you proceed? New project every time or a new VM with a clone of the project inside?

I am trying to link this to my actual website. I ran into a problem with the "npm install serve -g". I installed node.js and restarted my macbook. It keeps giving me a error saying permission is denied. Is this because I have it linked to my live website??

Hi Kevin, great tutorial !! A quick question, I've instaled node.JS but not sure how to proceed with the npm install serve -g command, since I'm using windows10. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Can we make oauth without redirecting to github oauth login page? Is it possible to stay on same page of our application and get the code, access token ?
@KevinSimper3 жыл бұрын
Hi Payal, you have to redirect to Github, the reason is that we do not know if the user is logged in to GitHub already, so if they are not, they need to login first and then they are redirected afterwards.

We can't send access_token to the client right? Anyone with the access token can make the api.github.com/user call with the access token and get all the data of the user. Let me know if I am thinking wrong?
@michaelharrison91293 жыл бұрын
Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I had the exact same thought but ended up doing it anyway. It is confusing because the access_token is needed on the client to be able to make the github requests
