When I was so young growing up in one of the mining towns, my father had all his songs. I miss my dad 😢❤

This is the whole reason I'm doing it. I'm Muzungu who grew up in Zambia. I have a little spare money so I'm buying records as I'm able, so I can share Zambian music back to a country I love. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be much effort to preserve Zambia's musical heritage inside Zambia. Hopefully that will change in time.

@7StarsMusicCentre I have it but it's in really bad shape. It's really scratched and extremely noisy. I did find another youtuber who recently uploaded it. Much cleaner copy, but the recording isn't great. Better than nothing though. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ravIc5ycjq-gj9Usi=Coe-4LLzzYbLSk2e

There is another Jerry Chilanga record from the same year and it's the same voice. If you know him from his songs in the 2010's and 2020's, he was in his 80's when he died. This song was recorded when he was in his 30's. Voices change as you age. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4rUhpSNn9hoers

Fun fact: Paul Ngozi was actually in the Crossbones for a two months in 1975, before joining Musi-O-Tunya and playing guitar on the Tselugani single! Then, in late 1975, he reformed his previous band, the "Three Years Before", and renamed them to, you guessed it, Ngozi Family!
