I have been looking for des album for a very long time, it reminds me some time back in 1990/1991 when Brenda fassy and Jambo of south Africa came to Zambia in Independence stadium this album was played and we enjoyed and then we enjoyed from the South Africans.

Classics from way way back. Love gjis one; the message in the song is so true. Would you happen to drop MUZAMUONA, by Jane Osborne. It appeared on her 1984 album called "Hotel Ivoire Intercontinental Presents: Jane Osborne"

You've outdone yourself with this Majoza Band album...in Zambia we say "Wa Chaya apa" meaning you've hit the sweet spot!...the band was originally from Lusaka Matero township and were great concert bands... sadly most band members are now late....they defined the tail end of the Kalindula genre....been on repeat all week....keep em coming

I feel you! I've been listening to it constantly since I got it. I've been intrigued by this album for a while since I heard kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJ6Yi3ugg9yZr6csi=tid3HVOGUXBGajxN - The Sound Inspectors record I posted a couple months ago. I picked up Botswana Show specifically because Clement Mubanga was involved in both, but I didn't know whether the album would live up to my hopes. It did! It seems like it was a good choice!

Greetings from Germany! Great sounds from way back. Would you consider dropping the song "A Mkandawire" by Paul Ngozi. Thanks in advance...
@Lendymanlistens26 күн бұрын
I don't have that one, but I'll put it on my list of records to look out for. I don't think it's been documented on discogs yet, so it may be a while before it turns up.

Thank you I am an avid follower of your music uploads. Although I currently live in the diaspora, being a musician myself, I am so connected to this kind of old folk music we grew up listening to and playing with the late Tim Mvula on ZNBC. Keep it up
@Lendymanlistens6 күн бұрын
My mom and I were talking about Tim Mvula the other day. The music on his show was where I saw most of the Zambian music I encountered in my childhood. I wish I'd been more interested back then. Don't worry, I don't plan on stopping any time soon.
