Hi I've already got this year sorted - and one of my purchases was the Usbourne encyclopedia of world history. I'm thinking of grabbing this for next year - could you let me know how much of the day or week this curriculum would usually take to complete if we read all the parts and watched the links and then completed the work and craft? Obviously everyone works at different levels etc - but I'm trying to work out how much of how many days per week this should take up.

Excited to provide my children secular history curriculum for this first year of homeschool. I really love that this curriculum offers comprehensive lesson plans, blends the textbook and accompanying encyclopedia of world history with internet links to additional content, lots of fun craftivities, and it engages more than one historical perspective. What a well thought out curriculum for homeschool families. I highly recommend from a first time homeschooling mom with kids ages 8 and 11. While my daughter is in 6th grade, she is excited to learn about Ancient History with her brother, and I'll add additional steps for her to take it to the next level.

Evolution Theory is taught as a truth. Not as a theory. =/ was excited about this for independent work but not purchasing because I'd have to monitor the author's intentions. Not against teaching theories just not for teaching them as truth. Much less a fact. Bummer
