I noticed there is some water standing on trunk floor. Maybe a good idea to find out the source of it and resolve before introducing sound proofing material that could potentially absorb and hold that moisture causing corrosion and mold. I am currently in the process of doing exactly that on my xc70 p3. That water leak in my case has been a pain because i can't seem to pin point it so far.
@gastyle944512 күн бұрын
@@krumins9 Yeah I did notice that. Although regarding the sound deadening it basically water proof so if there will be any leaks it will sit on top of it and won't soak in. My best guess would be replacing rear boot lid seals, rear light seals, or sun roof if presist.

Hi bro nice video thanks , u need to get an i bus dongle that fits into the back of the unit which costs about £52 and then £20 for the license software and also £18 for the DSP by pass. These cars a bloody nightmare to upgrade the head units , most likely you have to buy a 6 metre cable harness just to wire it up . They have a stupid DSP AMPLIFIER in the boot which communicates the car and most likely people have to bypass this to get sound to the speakers . If you add the dongle you will get your steering control’s back and also be able to code in yourself many new features . Good luck ❤🇬🇧👍🙏🏾
@gastyle944510 күн бұрын
It's the stupid Chinese crap that's messing the steering wheel controls etc. That headunit came with the can bus box etc 5m extension ran from the front to the back. I just hate the Chinese headunits. Some work ok some are absolutely shit.

That wire that you installed into the fuse box, where does it come from? Hi there just a quick question. I have changed both of them (plus springs, shock absorbers) but still doing bang noise. I thought the exhaust does the noise but everything is ok with that. Does the bushes have a specific position? As far as I remember I put the new ones in another position in (90 degrees) compare to the old ones. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

@@attaboyscaniasor6forever Bushes do need to be in the same position as they were in the beginning definitely. Otherwise they won't work correctly. Unless you have poly bushes. Regarding the bang I can't really tell as would need to hear myself, could be front. Just seems like it's the back.
