Hello! They are gorgeous. These are Erin Condren highlighters and they do great on bible pages. I do bible journaling with them. Thank you so much for making this! I actually suggest the EC Fine-Tip Highlighters and Dual-Tip Focused Highlighters for something like a Hobonichi. Their grid size is incredibly small (between 3-4mm) so those are absolutely the perfect size and the colors look amazing even on the cream paper! They do take a little bit of time to dry because of the paper coating but it's worth it.

I've been using Hobonichi as a catch all planner/journal for 7 years (2025 will be year 8) but I'm also a fountain pen user so I like having something with fountain pen friendly paper to work in as well as a different planner (I'm using the 18-month EC A5 daily ring agenda to better time block my days)

The Kanban Board is my favorite productivity tool. This is how you can create it in your planner: 1. Add a header to one page that says TO-DO. In another page add a header IN PROGRESS and on the las page add a header that says DONE. 2. Use sticky notes to write your tasks. 3. I love writing quotes in my planner, too! I get emails from Inspiring Quotes. I get them every day or every other day. I write the ones I really like in a notebook. Then when I’m planning, I pull out that notebook and pick out quotes to write.

I got the erin condren a5 planner and it has been so helpful! I also got the project and budget inserts and I made my own inserts for other important info. I am a teacher and will be going back to work in around 2 weeks so we will see if the planner holds up to both my personal life and work life together!

It is an amazing planner! Those project inserts are my favorite inserts 😍. I think using the A5 Daily Duo can accomodate different aspects of your life. Maybe color coding can help keep things separate? I am excited for you! I really wish I could use my planner for work but we are all digital where I work 🥲

Thank you so much 🙈🩷🩷🩷 If you are creative enough, you could probably cut it down for a Hobonichi cousin but I think it would be quite complicated since it is made for Vertical A5 wide boxes. I would probably just grab the Amazon sticker book instead and use that to decorate your Hobonichi spread along with some colorful markers. Just my thoughts 😅

I decided to go with the A5 Rings just now and we'll see if it helps. I usually like seeing my week on 2 pages but being a little more savvy on design, I'm thinking I can come up with a template to suit my needs. I'm not entirely sure yet though. I know I want to make my own cardstock deco dashboards. It'll be interesting to see the things I can do but I definitely think I need to start time blocking so I can visualize my time usage each day.

@@sarasplanner See.... I use my Silhouette Portrait for all of the above. I still need to experiment a bit with hole placement but overall it's been working well so far. I also have some divider cut files that I want to customize to possibly use once I transition to undated (because that's all that's available in Canvas which I prefer).

New subscriber! I totally understand everything you said...lol! At one time, I felt like I had to have every Planner Kit, but then I looked up and everyone else in the Planner Community was using the same kit. So I dont use kits as often. Now, I use variety of stickers, washi & designer cardstock. You're right, not using kits helps you be Creative! This spread turned out so beautiful & colorful!

Your spread came out so CUTE! I've tried sticker kits before, but I ended up not using the left overs. I have SO many HP sticker books and TONS of washi that I use that when making my spreads. I view this as my hobby. I love the creative aspect of putting it all together. ❤

I’ve never understood the use of weekly spreads. It seems so wasteful of material, space, time and money. I love stationary but I use what I have from old monthly kits or regular stickers. Keep planning n journaling, they’re my faves too practical, purposeful and therapeutic.
