Ruger 556: it’s brand new not even 1000 rounds thru it yet. After watching only thing I can gather is maybe I did not lube it properly. The bolt goes half way and then feels like it getting snagged until I hand charge it then clears just fine. Another shot same thing. Only before this last shoot I thought I had cleaned and lubed the crap outta it because before this last shoot I had stored it for a while in case. When I pulled it out there was still lube on all joints so threw me off. I’m hoping it’s a me thing because I doubt a brand new ruger is trash right off the production line.

So for a side mounted laser can’t you just zero the laser with the irons at the farthest distance you plan on shooting and anything within the zeroed distance it should hit the target?

Good video 🎉 Idk why people oil down their BCG gas vent holes,but they do 😞…. Take your extractor apart and clean that puppy out from excess oil/grime and take that rubber thing off of the extractor spring to solve failure to extract issues.

In addition to that, if the pieces do ever come loose on any of them, the Picatinny also wins as the nuts and bolts on "female" Picatinny pieces typically have more length and play to still be all together if loose, say on a push switch eg that dropped of the rail on the floor. That switch would typically still be fully intact and be able to screw it back on the "male" Picatinny rail of the handguard. But I've found that with key mod defo but even mlok too, I've found that its less forgiving if not screwed down correctly as the bolts are naturally shorter and thus less play and when it comes loose, depending on attachment it is you don't notice and its completely fallen off the gun. But those ones when they fall off the bolt and nut will fall away separately too typically so your now gotta look for 3 parts not 1 like with the Picatinny and looking for a nut and bolt on any terrain floor is a joke. So for me from experience Picatinny wins there too. Hope i explained that clearly enough lol.

Low dot works fine on the smc bravo... But i went with a compensated slide, which is definitely way too distracting and concussive for a braced pistol. I will see if it plays nice with a full size threaded barrel and whisper pickle!

If you have a parallel zero then this is negated just need to keep in mind of drop at distance depending on zero.

I bought a HF rotary tool and it’s as useful as a Dremel. The only problem I found with it is that the dang thing is uncommonly loud. I gave it to my wife for her yard sale and bought a Dremel.
