@sawyerthestarling Hear ya! I spent hours & hours sitting in backed-up Atlanta traffic, for years, & finally got the heck out out of that state. Sounds like metro TN is not much different. 😵💫
@sawyerthestarling8 күн бұрын
@@monkeybusiness1999 It's worse and I can tell you that from sitting in both. I was living in Nashville and going to school 40 hours a week in Atlanta and driving back every weekend for work and doing it all over again. They're both atrocious. I would leave at 3 in the morning from Atlanta to make it to Nashville by 7 and the same going back to Atlanta. I tried to avoid it at all costs.
@monkeybusiness19998 күн бұрын
@sawyerthestarling Wow... that's a tremendous amount of time & work - much credit to you for taking all of this on! Hope you were rewarded for your efforts :) Travel wasn't this insane for me, but it did take an hour plus just to drive 14 miles. Might not sound too bad, but the stress, twice a day, became exhausting after awhile. Esp leaving home very early, & working late, simply to avoid sitting in the worst of the traffic. Totally get that.
@sawyerthestarling8 күн бұрын
@@monkeybusiness1999 That is a huge amount of stress and opportunity for accidents. Having to do it on a routine basis every single day would be mentally hard. I would not adjust to that well at all and I don't envy you. I didn't mean to compare, just that I got a full dose of both places and they're both ridiculous. Sitting in traffic drives me insane. I'm from the wide open country, no police and no traffic so the adjustment for me never happened. I honestly don't know how people live that way. I hope it was worth it for you too. In that hour+ I could've been in another state already and you were still only 14 miles from home. And Twice?! I could faint at the thought. I'm glad you got through it safely and are here to commiserate with me. 😂🥰
