Kirby ended up doing the same thing - my pop had one when I was a kid that did some of the same things, only adding the ability to put on a polishing wheel with some rouge that came with it!

You answered your own question, its 100 years old😂

Maybe it had something to do with sleeves getting caught because the throttle lever is right above the wheel.

They stop making it because it was too good and doesn't break and we need cheap stuff from China that breaks super easy..😂😂😂
@aspiceronni446222 сағат бұрын
They quit making them because it can be repaired. That eliminates repeat customers. Companies need repeat business.

The Wife would want to hook that up to the old Singer with the foot treadle, and Pops could hook it up to a waterpump and fill up the cistern!

group #3, I think the person in my love life is myself😂. You basically described me. Other than near the end you reminded me of a friend that I keep risking stuff for. Even my life the other day as I saved her from a dude that had bad intentions, the dick almost ran me off the road. Whole reason she got in that truck is because the guy said he had answers on her ex. She hasn’t gotten over him and still loves him a lot. But i’ll always be there for her as a friend. So i’d say you are very good at what you do. 😭She coocoo though I don’t wanna chase her

If you lose current in the field winding of that thing (say, bad connection in the lever thing) the magnetic field dynamics will make the motor accelerate until it disintegrates. If it is an asynchronous AC motor, that is.

Because they made it too well, and it was too durable for occasional replacement. Once everybody who has a need for one has it, the customer base is minimized to the point of unproffitability to continue producing it. Besides, the big handle has been replaced by a dial potentiometer. In the recognized business model of today it's, "build it as cheaply as possible and make money on replacement parts or products."
