Music lifts the Spirit. Rocky road to Dublin. Good One. Dirty Old Town. Swan McColl about Salford Whiskey in the Jar. I remember singing on The Tralee to Cork Rd. I loved it fantastic. I don't know the Christy Moore song. I recommend the Cliffs of Duneen. Why do the Irish write such haunting songs about their location, About a Million Irish people emigrated during the Famine. The songs are testament that they didn't want to go. Bless you Anne.

@@anneku Yes. I played Principal Trombone for several years before I committed to Chemistry and let my understudy Music Major take over the spot. Our subset of Principal brass players made up a variable quintet to octet that toured and played paying gigs outside of school. There were a few local churches that had an organ and organist that could play these pieces. We loved it! It did most of the Watermusic Suite in other venues even if we didn't have an organ.
