I'm always dealing with symptoms of PTSD, and everything else wrong with my head. It's worst around November. This is the first time I just sat with my feelings within the darkest core, without pointing blame at anyone. Just acknowledging the unresolved feelings from what happened. Writing these lyrics was healing in a way. I told my therapist that it was like walking down a path with monsters coming at me from both sides, but I pushed past them.
