1966 is cooler than 1989

no way that's a 9 sec car with 300 HP unless it is light weight as hell, the 94 Vette that this car is based on took over 12 secs for the 1/4 mile.

As far as a race goes, who cares. As far as looks go, the 1966 wins hands down. I'm not saying the 1989 is a slouch. Far from it. But the 66, whether you're looking at it from front, sides, back, top or combination angles it is absolute perfection. But lets face it for the 89, the back end is its obvious weakest point. And something is lost on a direct side view that doesn't capture that intimidating persona that's best viewed from either direct front or front side combo.

This is really just a race between a Camaro and a Corvette wearing costumes.

I'm not sure which one was more pathetic, the "builder" claiming the 1st car can hit 180 MPH, and run the 1/4 mile in 10-11 seconds (with only 285 hp), the 2nd car running the 1/4 mile in 9 seconds (with only 325 hp) or the staged race at the end.

Absolutely Grendizer is the best ever! And I must say that I prefer the arabic version as I first saw him in Libya where I lived for four years as a kid. Even today I find Sammy Clarke's singing far more emotional than Isao Sasaki's. Just my opinion of course. Glad you guys like my take on this epic robot and that my goal to make him bad ass and scary(he was built by the Vegan's after all) seems to have struck a chord with the millions of fans around the world.
