All but a couple (Canon camera) were shot with my new Samsung phone. I've had to use the phone because the heavy camera was causing shoulder problems when I couldn't use a tripod. I have more control with the video on the phone and it's much lighter. I'm very impressed with it. I'm a professional photographer not videographer so I'm still learning.

As a child of 3 or 4 yrs old in the early 1960's, I still have vivid memory of watching two traction engines ploughing a field, whilst stood at the top of one of my father's fields behind the 15th Century/Victorian country pile we lived in. That was the early 1960 and to my knowledge now, they were contractors still using steam traction engines.

Wow looks busy - were there many swags out there? I remember camping there with my son in 2009, people were having cold showers until we fired up the donkey using sleepers from the old rail line. All and sundry then had nice warm showers and the 4WD crew pulled up next to us were folks from our local Surf Lifesaving club - small world! That Farina cemetery is the epitome of "boot hill" an absolutely world class artefact.
@Ozdragon52Ай бұрын
It was busy. There may have been a few swags but mostly there were caravans, camper trailers and rooftops. A very unique place to explore and enjoy. More video clips to follow.

That’s a cracking layout. It’s a shame the Whyalla crew can’t transport the club layout or the museum layout to the shows they would easily STEEL the show lol. Guess it’s a great reason to pop over to the steel city and pay them a visit. Did you grab some footage of the Coffeepot running?

@josefbuckland2 ай бұрын
@@Ozdragon52 agreed you can’t be everywhere and just when you turn your back to set up filming for the next one the layout behind you pulls out the next set of rollingstock not to worry too much at all. I’m sure it’s always a great time to be had in the meantime, I got a knuckle down and get the signal gantries built. Stay safe.

It certainly does fly but all I could get close up was the starting up and taxiing. I need a bigger lens on my camera to film the action on the actual runway. Something different to what I usually fly and the red gyroplane I went in was fantastic but certainly a unique experience for a fixed wing pilot.

I have seen the bottom of a lake get dredged using a similar set up with two steam traction engines and a dredge that looked similar to the scoop being used here. They did it easily and way quicker than a modern long arm excavator sitting on a pontoon.
