It still boggles me to this day why the GE/North American version's intake manifold goes over the engine body. This engine bay layout makes me think that things could have been spaced a bit more proper, so we wouldn't have to have painful spark plug changes. Anyhoo, beautiful car, but I wish my intake manifold could look sexy like that car's.

I had one of these for 8 years and recently got rid of it last year and it only had 105K miles. Strange for me to see the cloth seats. I think all 540is in America had leather
