Robert is one of my favorite guitarists and has a solid soulful voice as well. I just wish that he and other big time guitarists like Clapton could stay a little closer to the original recorded solos instead of adlibbing and going completely off-script when doing live performances. Clapton always has been the worst at this - replacing his masterpiece recorded solos with adlib - amateurish licks that no one recognizes or can relate to and it just destroys the song's momentum. Stevie Ray Vaughn seemed to never have this problem and his live performances were as close to a live duplication of the recorded original as you can get. I'm not an electric guitar maestro and I get it that sometimes you're just tired, bored and just looking to get the show over and go drink or smoke dope. I get it. But if you depend on your fans to buy tickets, attend your events and make your pathetic paychecks, then please give them their fucking money's worth. Stevie Ray Vaughn always did and never left his audience disappointed. SRV was and still is the best pure blues and rock guitarist of all time - not even close.

Enjoying Mr. Cray concert 🎵 and this was his last song of the performance, and I got so choked up and did everything I could to stop the tears 😭 coming from my eyes. My wife asked if I was okay. So spiritual and soulful.

Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Big Country all came into my life around 1982. Early '80s had some of the best music.

Robert Cray is a racist pos. He hates Donald Trump because he still votes democrat. Any black American that still votes democrat needs their heads examined. SMDH

Just watched D2D again and came here to listen to JV do it again. Smokin' player. Pulled out my Jimmie Vaughan signature Stratocaster and learned some new licks. Had the pleasure of seeing JV a few years ago. Super guy stayed for pics afterwards.
