I adore the movie. I’ve been watching this movie for 30 years now, and it’s always been a pleasure, a heart break, and a curse. But Paul Newman was wonderful. Great cast. This movie has the same tone and feel as my own sometimes difficult childhood, but a nostalgic pleasure. A great piece of Americana. I want to read the novels, and the screenplay to this. Bravo Hotshot;)

LOVE this movie! This movie had pretty much an all-star cast. Established actors and even big stars who were in the smallest of roles. And why? Because they all wanted to work with Paul Newman.

I come back to this every few years. One of my favorite fan edits from my teens, and it still holds up so well. The match on action work and shot parallels (like the moff doing yayo at the end) are just so good
