The growth of the game in the U.S. in the past 20 years has brought players from the sunbelt and alot of Canadians have played in the states and promoted the game and are system. Gretzky would be the beginning of it. I will say this The OHL and the WHL and the Q in Canada still have great hockey system. Simply all nations have caught up to us and American college hockey is excellent and being a hot bed for drafting. Congratulations to the U.S. team and staff. Class act and we'll deserved back to back victories. 🤘 2:46

So, Stars and Bars means the flag of the Army of Virginia. You might know it as the "Confederate Flag", although that isn't true. The Confederate flag was totally different. You mean the "Stars and Stripes." This is like an American not recognizing that Don Cherry is the PM of Ontario. 🙂

Canada has only dominated hockey for decades, so it is inevitable that other countries would catch up, especially when we have taught many of the nations, including the US, our style, our game
