Great Jam! I’ve had the Volga Drum for a few years and have tried a lot of times to programme a decent sounding 808 type kit into it, but I’m never happy with the results. Your one sounds good - any chance you could share some tips on how to create it?

Wouldn't it be nice if Korg released a new Kaossilator instead of the Replay that nobody asked for?

I bought a Volca Sample just last week. Nice and simple to work with but I'm so frustrated that it can't sync -start with other devices like my Volca Bass can. Also I can't select a midi input channel. It receives on all channels, which supposedly gives more control but is really problematic.

Really enjoyed this one. I have 2 v2 samplers and a korg nts1. Hoping to get a fm2 very soon and then I was thinking of uploading some jams. I also have some tamashi nations and soul of chogokin figures so I wanted to get them in the videos too. I'm into drum and bass ,experimental stuff. Keep it all up!

I just ordered one of these to make simple tekno beats and this blew my mind!!! Amazing that you as well as this cheap little thing are capable of making such awesome sounds and rythms. How long have you been using the m:c/doing fm synthesis?
@WaitingForZyoАй бұрын
Yes it's really powerful but a little tricky :D anyway i love this machine :)

This goes to prove that the tools/devices are secondary to the artist. The limitations of the Volcas are fine when used really well. I think the tightness of the drums contrasts nicely with the analogue Volca Keys.
@tweakmygroovebox608Ай бұрын
I didn't know the Model Cycles was capable of such dark sounds- you're a master of sound design and sequencing to make something like this, it's unlike all the other Model Cycles KZbin videos I've seen. I recently started using my Model Cycles again- yours is the benchmark of quality. I'm guessing you have carefully used distortion on the bass to give it the gnarly sound as well as some LFO tricks?

You can power the cycles from a power bank with an adaptor cable! I dont remember what the brand was called, but I have played my cycles in the park with it.
