Candle 31 doesn’t work. Shot that thing in the spot you stood and it doesn’t work

After so many years, these videos are still extremely useful. It’s crazy how something like this isn’t signed anywhere, nor in a mission nor in an achievement. Did it today and it was so satisfying to light the last candle!

Let me explain the point of the candles, with some context. There are 16 focus upgrades you can have but one of them (Intuition I) happens automatically so you only need to get 15. [+8] You'll get 8 from the Queen of Beggars, the first one for free and the remaining 7 for 4500g (Master difficulty). [+1] You'll be rewarded 1 for lighting all 36 talking candles in the city. [+6] The remaining six are not purchased or rewarded. Instead, they are picked up like collectibles. 3 of these are story-related and cannot be missed (or at least I'm _pretty sure_ they can't be missed). The other 3 need to be found and picked up manually. The City: South Quarter District [In the fish-hawker's market area, enter the secret tavern, the focus symbol is behind the bar] Chapter 3 [Find the secret trigger book in the Scriptorium area to access a hidden side room with a focus symbol] Chapter 4 [Obtained near the end of the chapter as part of the story] Chapter 5 [Check the dark nook at the bottom of old prison's stairwell to find the focus symbol just before you enter the reformation area] Chapter 6 [Obtained near the end of the chapter as part of the story] Chapter 7 [Obtained near the end of the chapter as part of the story] Note to self: Candles #4 (4:07) and #8 (6:50) are the same candle. So there arent 37 candles like this guy's videos show. Instead, there are only 36.

You won't be rewarded with focus point for lighting all the candles if playing on the cracked version . I found it out the hard way

what happens when you turn on all the candles?

Thanks so much for this thorough guide. I thought I would be able to get all of these myself, then after I had gone through all of Stonemarket and it didn't give me the focus point there was no way I was gonna go back scouring the whole map lol. I really appreciate it. :)

Just North of candle 23 look through the gate... there is a candle sitting on the corner of the railings ... otherwise your doing a great job of showing were they are 🙌😎

4 & 8 are the same candle .…. and there is a candle in the south east corner of Stonemarket. Across drop bridge, then rope to little porch. Then shoot across alley.

#15... I couldn't seem to light that with a fire arrow, but it worked when I used a blast arrow. By the way, thanks for the locations!!

The bonus candle isn't bonus its a part of the whole group.Because I got the focus point after i got the bonus

By referencing the map before and after the "shots" allows us viewers to know exactly where the locations were. Another great thing you did was including a starting out point as a visual reference/aid on how to get to these candles from an already well known area. That's very useful since navigating in this game can be rough at times. This video should be used as a tutorial on how to make a GREAT collections/walkthrough KZbin video. Awesome bro!

First, let me thank you for this guide, I have found it very clear and helpful. I just wanted to point out a mistake: candle 4 and 8 appear to be the same candle, you can see the street sign for av GrandMauden just below in both cases and the candle is just under the pipe in both image.
