Hey Gray, do you have an active link to Doodle's video for doing it without grip changes? I figured out a way to do it today and I want to verify that it's the same thing.

This is so helpful! My brain thinks differently transferring this move to fans, it's been a challenge!

Do you actually know what the name methuselah means? "His death shall bring" it literally was the Trigger to the Biblical Flood where all human life but Noah's family was wiped out on Earth. Nice choice.

Great video, Gray! I believe that I only ever saw the serpent when the wind was very calm or it was tethered, so I didn't get to experience the full effect of its movement.

Very cool. Curious as to what keeps it from swinging into the main support?
@HarlequinSoletair9 жыл бұрын
+John Atchley The wind is blowing into its face. The surface area of the serpent at the tail end is far greater than the surface area at the head end, so whenever the serpent deflects away from the wind direction there is a force which acts to correct it. It is a little more complicated than this but that's the gist of it.

Really good, clear tutorial, and creative approach, Gray... I like your teaching style. One discrepancy I see is that your poi meltdowns are split-same (as I also understand poi meltdowns to be), and the fan version you show is tog-opp.
