Wie heißen denn die anderen Background Sängerinnen, neben Sharon Robinson? What are the names of the other background singers besides Sharon Robinson?

Possibly Cohen's most beautiful song. The lyrics are truly wonderful. Brings a tear to the eye.

The God Abandons Antony At midnight, when suddenly you hear an invisible procession going by with exquisite music, voices, don't mourn your luck that's failing now, work gone wrong, your plans all proving deceptive - don't mourn them uselessly: as one long prepared, and full of courage, say goodbye to her, to Alexandria who is leaving. Above all, don't fool yourself, don't say it was a dream, your ears deceived you: don't degrade yourself with empty hopes like these. As one long prepared, and full of courage, as is right for you who were given this kind of city, go firmly to the window and listen with deep emotion, but not with the whining, the pleas of a coward; listen - your final pleasure - to the voices, to the exquisite music of that strange procession, and say goodbye to her, to the Alexandria you are losing. Constantine P. Cavafy

I wish they would put these concerts on DVD. Just the individual sons, mix and match. Never had seen this recordings. The only good DVD (from his tours is from London) but you can cover just this many songs in one concerts. Just put together individual songs from various concerts. It would be nice. Thank you.

Oh My Oh My,one of the Popular Problems tracks, has THE VERY SAME tune, melodic line, arrangements, chords, pattern, solo....EVERYTHING AS BANJO but the lyrics. Isn't it a little bit odd to record 2 songs in 2 different records (and one after the other) which differ only in the lyrics? Wish Cohen has changed everything for Oh My Oh My to have the chance to listen to a new one of his masterpieces!

I wonder if it going to be arranged like this on the album. Maybe, hopefully it was still in the works at this point.

Een geweldige opname van deze indringende voordracht van A Thousand Kisses Deep. Zo fijn om de uitdrukking in zijn ogen goed te zien, vooral bij "it's too late, it's been too late for years. But you look good, you really do".. dank je Maarten.
