Hey there! Firstly thanks so much for joining us on Patreon! We greatly appreciate it and hope you find it valuable for years to come! My first guess is that you have the 5-pin midi plugs in the wrong place. I say this because it’s the most common thing I’ve noticed and it’s for sure the mistake I made! lol So try putting your midi OUT cable in the midi IN on the MercuryX. Midi IN into the midi OUT as well. Once this is connected and the usb is recognized by your Sysex Librarian, select the usb to midi interface to “play” the preset file. Select the file and hit “play”. You should see the preset on the MercuryX. Then just hold down the selector button above the preset or the scroll knob to save the preset there. I will say that Meris is working to finish the prEDITOR software for the MercuryX that they have for the LVX. Once that’s ready it will make loading and moving presets so much easier! Cheers

@thepedalcollaborative11 күн бұрын
@STROA13 the “Poly” delay structure on the LVX is a dual version of the Polymoon. It’s worth having both if you’re looking to feed the LVX with the Polymoon, but it also feels a little redundant maybe. If you love the Polymoon and want more then the LVX is a great upgrade!
@KYDY12 күн бұрын
Halo or the Dig... leaning Halo. Polymoon's a multi-tap delay with various modulation options for making weird sounds. Not really in the same dual delay camp IMO. SDE sounds good but haven't used it so can't comment. Dig is an amazing dual delay, but Halo takes the cake for its specific filtering & modulation, so dialed in with its subtle stereo spread, fits into anything. I wonder how close to the Halo the Dig can get in its series mode... here in this video the Dig is set up pretty bright & ping-pongy.

Love the tones. Do you ever have trouble getting the condor to do higher gain stuff? I find that the condor kinda spazzes out when the gain is anywhere above 1-2 o’clock and the drive is engaged. Overall level decreases as well so its louder with the drive disengaged, which i find odd. Been tough also trying to use it as a boost. I have my condor after my drives as i find the LPF really useful post-drive to tame highs and harshness

They all do the dual delay thing really good. You know that Halo is Dialed in per AT for that pad like reverby thing. It's also based on dual memory man's so it would be nice for that analogy flavor. I love amp talk! My first was a Crate GT80 DSP (with reverse delay!), but very fast I was able to buy a rack with a Marshall JMP-1 and a rackmount Engl amp, which I still have and still love. Through our singer I tested guitars and amps that I otherwise wouldn't be able to play, like Soldano, Rivera, Mesa, all that stuff. Right now I have a hybrid rig where I use all my preamps through Two Notes gear going into my effects pedals. Other than you two I gravitate towards Marshall style amps. I had a very early Zoom amp sim that gave me a ridiculously good clean sound. But it's long broken now.

@thepedalcollaborative14 күн бұрын
Could just be my playing that makes it sound clinical or sterile… 🤷🏻 😆 The Hi-Cut was difficult for me to notice subtle differences in the sweep. Maybe it was because it is on the third repeats and beyond, but I didn’t catch that specifically. If that’s the case, it is a little odd but I suppose it keeps the initial repeats more clear and then washes as it goes, as if it’s the cross feed getting the hi-cut. Not sure. I’ll definitely keep an ear out on that to see if I can pick it up! Thanks for bringing that up!
@kierenmoore323614 күн бұрын
@@thepedalcollaborative. No, there’s no problem with your playing at all. As for the Hi-Cut, that’s just what I was told … could be nonsense, but even more difficult to tell over KZbin. Hi, great video - i'm having all sorts of issues trying to send the tempo from my disaster area micro.clock to either my da midi box 4 or straight to my chase bliss ownard - any ideas? Is your disaster area tempo box sending the clock out via midi, to the midi box 4? (my micro.clock doesn't have midi out so I may have to get whatever your disaster area tempo thingy is!?) Many thanks in advance

Take a look at the micro.clock user manual here: static1.squarespace.com/static/5ffa32e2e3802f025d87246d/t/5ffa5f9a4807cb16b93c4f77/1610243996424/micro.clock+Manual.pdf You want to set up the red multijack to send midi out to Chase Bliss which also requires the adjustment of the DIP switches on the micro.clock. Then I believe a TRS cable is all you need. Start there and report back if you keep running into snags!
@thepedalcollaborative14 күн бұрын
My answer was a response to your questions. Did it not come through? Your micro.clock and a TRS cable SHOULD be all you need, but since I’m not associated with either manufacturer, please reach out to them specifically for deeper questions. That said, here’s my guess to possibilities: 1: you’re not using TRS cables 2: you’re not plugging the TRS cable into the midi jack on the Onward 3: you don’t have the micro.clock set up to send midi to chase bliss appropriately. My smart.clock is set up using 5-pin to the midi box 4 and then TRS cables from there to the Chase Bliss pedals. I have to make sure I each midi box 4 output that the DIP switches for that output are set correctly. Also, even when done correctly, the LEDs on the Onward may not blink in any sort of synchronized manner to show you it’s receiving midi clock. I’ve noticed this on the MOOD as well and you just have to use your ears to know it’s working Hope that helps. If not, you may have to reach out to Disaster Area or Chase Bliss as they design and manufacture their products to communicate with midi in specific ways and if something is working right within either unit, you can DK everything correctly and it still won’t work
@TimStanley197814 күн бұрын
@@thepedalcollaborative Thanks for the detailed response - is your TRS cable a special one (I bought a TRS stereo cable), i've adjusted the dipswitch and done the settings in the micro.clock but i'm certain it's not working. @TimStanley1978 100% get that! My TRS cable isn’t special, you may need a special TRS to 5-pin midi from DA to connect the micro.clock to midi box.
