Ironically enough, War Thunder (which is where I'm assuming you've gotten your information from) is incorrect on both of those things. Videos of the Type 10 can be easily found online of it firing 1 round every 1.2 seconds. While people have suggested that this is their autoloader in a "combat" setting, giving the tank the ability to load faster than usual, their normal reload is likely around the 2-3 seconds mark. So while War Thunder is close with its "normal" speed, since War Thunder is a game all about tank combat, the autoloader should probably always be working at maximum overdrive, right? And unlike what you think the Type 10 actually does have pretty strong armor, at least according to official sources. It is made out of nano-crystal steel and ceramic armor. Nano-crystal steel is very expensive and difficult to manufacture, but it is much lighter than steel, and significantly harder. Gaijin doesn't care about this though, and will likely never change it until A), classified documents are OFFICIALLY released (Gaijin's policy is to not implement classified information if it has been leaked). B), field tests are conducted by a reputable source (considering Gaijin's geopolitical location, they probably wouldn't trust the source unless it was Russian). or C), Gaijin suddenly finds some love in their heart for Japanese players (they probably wont). Since Gaijin hasn't seen anything "official" prove that the tank isn't made of paper, and they cant possibly fathom why the tank would have it's extremely light weight and good mobility for any reason other than it having no armor, the tank in game will remain a total glass cannon for the foreseeable future

The Type 10 has pretty good armor… only that its not as thick compared to other MBTs since Mitsubishi heavy industries prioritizes the tank’s lightweight design over heavier armor for ease of transportation throughout Japan’s terrain and islands for the JGSDF

It’s an issue the JGSDF is fixing from lessons learned from the Type 90 due to the Type 90’s heavier weight making transporting it much more difficult which is why most Type 90s are stationed in the Northern parts of Japan

It doesn't need the heavy armor anyways whatever it's fighting is going to be way less armored
