No problem, here's how to cook chicken biriyani at home: Marinate chicken with yogurt, spices, and ginger-garlic paste for at least an hour. Cook sliced onions until golden; add tomatoes and the marinated chicken. Cook until the chicken is done. Parboil basmati rice with whole spices (cloves, cardamom, cinnamon). Layer the cooked chicken and parboiled rice in a heavy-bottomed pot. Sprinkle with fried onions, chopped cilantro, mint, and saffron milk. Cover tightly and cook on low heat (or in a 350°F oven) for 25-30 minutes. Ensure the rice is fully cooked and flavors meld. Serve hot with raita or a side of your choice.
