Locs have actually made it easier. I don’t have to worry about my hair much because it’s so easy to maintain on a daily basis!

Congrats! I am new to your channel and am considering DIY braidlocks. How long are your retightening sessions, and do you feel they would go faster if you had a defined grid? Crystal

Thank you! If I retie in all one session it’s about 3-5 hours. I do 3 point rotation, when I was doing 4point it room about an hour longer. I think I goes slower because you focus more on the parts and keeping the grid. I don’t do that as much lol

Yes ma’am. Once a week . But I sit under a bonnet dryer. If I’m drying them straight about 20-30 minutes. For braid or twist outs I sit under for 45 minutes-I can’t take it anymore lol

Honestly, I appreciate your comment. I struggled with this fast because I started with my family and they stopped after a few days. I chose to stay on it but struggled. But I think you are correct. God eventually led me to a 3 day water only fast. That was amazing

I agree locs are more natural then loose natural. With locs your hair gets to do what it naturally wants to do. And thanks tangle and clump all on its own. ❤
