If you really want to blow it, insert diesel to the intake, it will override the governor and will run until valvefloat, or any other explosion from rods or pistons. And to help it, add some flammable fuild to help it rev even more! (Like the one at 3:16) Make it runaway! But be warned, it will possibly explode in your face, so be warned of pieces flying (or just lock from overheat). I look forward to the next endurance test!

As a fellow 7.3 owner, it makes me cry to see a 7.3 being abused, but here's a little secret: You would have better luck blowing it up if you had a boost fooler. On a stock 7.3, a sensor tells the computer to cut fuel when boost gets too high. By getting a boost fooler, you can trick the system to rev higher, and if pared with a wastegate and/or blow off valve that doesn't close, you could get some serious power and RPM's, but also serious carnage.
@Shadetree7.36 күн бұрын
True, but that doesn't really apply in this case because; #1 there isn't enough load on the engine to create enough boost to trip the code and #2 fuel is irrelevant because I'm supplying copious amounts of ether as a fuel source. 🤣 I would need a dyno to really put a proper load on it, but I don't have one nearby. (and they probably wouldn't approve of this experiment anyway lol)
