I agree that the Music Center app by Sony is highly practical, but its graphic design feels outdated in 2025. As for the EQ of the Go+Play 3, it's like a secret that a detective needs to uncover-it's not even mentioned in the instructions! Despite that, I do love the impact it has on the speaker's sounding.

First of all, I'm thankful that you watched my video and commented on it. You are right. This happens in so many all bluetooth speakers. Their sweet spot is around 70% to 80%. But, if you watch this video completely, you can see that I have recorded the sound sample on 80% and 100% separately, and the reduction of the proportion of the bass in the sound is obvious at full blast.

I double-checked, and now I'm sure Go 4 is Ip67 according to JBL official website. If I were you, I would upgrade Go 3 for 3 reasons: first, the Equlisers and appsupport, secold for Auracast and TWS, and finally, for more durable built quality. However, if your only concern is sound quality, there is not a big difference..

They are really different in terms of sound. As sound is very objective. If you like warm and boomy sound, you should opt for Sony. You'd better know Sony has fuller sound . On the other hand, if you want deep bass and clear and crisp sounding, you should go for JBL. And JBL gets loader sicnificantly, and it is 1kg lighter.

Of course, it's better that its predecessor. however, against flip6 in terms of bass, JBL is unbeatable, but boom 4 has way better srounding sound, and it doesn't get earpiersing at max volume

It really depends on your needs and preferences. If you want something that you can carry it with yourself easily and prefer a crisp sounding speaker, you would better opt for JBL charge 5. On the other hand, if you are into warmer sound signature with stereo effects and want a better designed speaker with rgb lights, and more advances bluetooth Codecs and better party connection protocol that lets you connect wider range of speakers together, Sony SRS XG300 is a great choice. All in all, for the same price, I'll buy Sony SRS XG300.

Yes, it is available, and it's great fore its price, especially Tribit Storm Box Blast, but first its sound is not as full as Sony, and It doesn't connect to more than 2 pairs they are TWS only. But compared to JBL, they don't go as deep as JBL in the bass. However, they are powerful punchy and loud for their size. I'll do reviews of them.

I'll tell you the exact difference. You are right by some means. The bass on the sony is fuller and includes all frequencies, so as drivers try to do all of those frequencies, it does not "kick." On the other hand, it seems that jbl chooses to filter some frequencies to be able to produce the type of bass that can impress people in the first minutes of music, which may become annoying after awhile for someone.

Sony's terrible they suck

I do appreciate your criticism and totally accept them, and I'll try my best to improve the quality of my videos. the microphone that I use to record the sound of speakers is Zoom H3-VR. I've chosen this microphone since it can record 24 bit binaural sound, which I could not find in any other microphone of this size and price, and I feel it's accurate as I have tested it in a deadroom. The microphone you see in the video is Beyerdynamic Fox, which I feel is not a very good choice for recording the sound test because of the warm sound signature that it records, so I just use it for my vocals. I do know that sound quality is subjective, but for portable bluetooth speakers that are developed to be carried outdoors, the loadness is really important so when a portable bluetooth speaker is very quiet for its size it seems that most people will find it useless. To appreciate your time and honesty, I'll do a specific frequency test just to answer your needs.

Now, about the microphones - I don't know what microphones you use, but I DO KNOW THAT NOTHING SOUNDS AS IT SHOULD, nor could I hear the bass, nor the treble, AND THEN ADD THE SPEAKING(which is so quiet, that it can't be heard) I could hear almost nothing and to be honest, in this video they sounded one to one - the same, and live it's not like that(the Sony is warm with a balanced sound, and the jbl is like a spoiled toy with a boxy sound that distorts) - I've tried them. It would be lovely if you did as well, I don't want to give examples of paid(so it seems) youtubers(what a pity you get them right on the front page) but youtubers like DWX Wilington, Gymcaddy may be anything but, but at least they run separate sound samples where there is absolutely no talking - just music so we the viewers can draw our own subjective conclusions.

No companies have even an official dealer here, and all speakers and other gadgets are imported here from Dubai. All in all, I do my best to satisfy my dear subscribers and viewers. I will record and release what you want as soon as possible. And in terms of JBL vs. Sony sound signature, afters of years of owning both, I can say that JBL tries to give its listener a hyper right after playing the music on it by its deep and punchy base and clear treable, but after listening to it for few minutes( if you are not dancing and drinking in the middle of the dance floor) you'll feel exusted of its earpiercing high frequincies especially when it's played at full blast. On the other hand, Sony tries to be loyal to the original sound of the music it has warm sound singature that will never make you feel tired of the music.

​@Armatechnology I don't know, but I've seen with my own eyes and ears what jbl's sound like. They sound, unnatural(bright, grumpy bass, no attack and punch, no mids, mid-highs and highs sound shrill and boxy) as far as Sonys have always sounded natural(warm, boomy bass that is fuller, has attack and punch, has mids and highs). Doing my own tests with their speakers versus the Sony, I've noticed that the Sony has a deeper bass, though with the music I listen to, it's not audible because it's just not there. A friend of mine who is a musician was also disgusted when he heard them. He doesn't understand speakers, but he certainly understands sound and was told they sounded terrible, thin vocals, no mids. The Sony's have a balanced sound. Very few people on KZbin do frequency test's and I get annoyed, I would be very happy if you started doing it.

Some people say the xb43 is better, others say the opposite, and I don't have a chance to actually hear them, our stores don't have them....I'LL BE VERY HAPPT N SATISFIED, IF YOU DO IT.
