Literally over 60% of their lakes and waterways are contaminated with high levels of cancer causing nitrates caused by run off. The state of Iowa has the equivalent of 75 million people pooping every day because of the hog confinements. This is so much poo they have no where to put it. So they sell it as fertilizer and it's killing the water life and citizens. Iowa boast the highest cancer rates in the nation. Yeah Big mystery to why 😢
