I think I may have asked you in another Jekku post, but which breeder did you get him from and where are they located? I think I like the structure of European ones more than the USA ones. I also like that they keep their tails there.

Schipperkes are super smart. My dog used to know the name of his toys and I didn't really train him to do it, just from using the words around him naturally. Maybe six different toys, keys, squeeky toy, ball, bear, etc.

I love watching your sweet Jekku!! I am a therapist and I watch him on my dinner breaks. My papillon died at only 6 in August and I miss her so much. We are getting a Schipperke in May and we are going to name her Sadie. Watching your sweet dog helps me get a dog fix while I wait. I'm SO impressed with how much you've taught him! Well done!!

Without a doubt the most intelligent dogs in the world. It's almost an insult to Schipperkes to refer to them as "smart" animals. I have had one Schipperke and nine Dobermans in my life. Dobes are smart. Schips are on a completely different level though. Ingenious is probably the best term.

A Pig snout, good it will last three months before he completely digests it. At least mine did. Mine passed away two winters ago he was 16. I must be missing my Buddy I catch myself talking to him in my sleep and looking for him at night.

Jekku and you are blessed to have each other. What a wonderful trip. You are obviously an experienced camper, and Jekku gets to enjoy everything, which is wonderful.

It's so good to see Jekku again! I used to watch your videos a lot. You are such a good trainer of dogs. You have a very special ability with animals-- I think God gave this to you. When I was young we had a Schipperke! He lived for 19 years!! I am thinking about Jekku and you during these difficult times (happenings in the world). God bless the brave people of Finland!!
