Hi, I wanna create, with the help of generative AI, a (probably really weird) video based on this - mainly the audio and wanted to ask, if this is your recording, whether that's okay with you. And, if it is your recording, I also wanna tell you that I'm a bit jealous, cause that seems like an awesome show!

Go for it! Looking forward to seeing the results! 🤘😮

She sounds great - though we all miss that classic lineup. I saw one of those later iterations when Pretenders opened for U2 in L.A. - 1987. With Johnny Marr on guitar.

@@miketuttle9319 - Not sure where you live but… Pretenders played in’23 Asbury Park, NJ & this July ‘24 in Redbank NJ. It appears they are touring every summer in the states by just the Pretenders but also later tour with Foo Fighters. For you it’s worth the drive. She is fabulous & the band is tight. Love James, lead guitarist & miss Martin Chambers. 🙋🏻♀️

Another great recording from floor level of a gritty song from the first album. Once again, I posted a recording of it from the upper tier that captures a broader view of Chrissie and James Walbourne. I was hoping you caught Nick Wilkinson’s crazy bass runs that honor Pete Farndon’s signature work, but the guy to your left keeps blocking it every time Chrissie sings, “Gonna hurt some…” except at the end. Here’s mine just for another angle: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nISqeoaEfpl4iJosi=-_I0dvgIRFOCLKEK

You should say that to Lisa Wetton's face. This project has the backing of John's widow and everyone else who's ever been associated.

Thanks for uploading this. I was sitting on the upper tier left, up front but the speakers blocked half of the stage. I couldn’t see the drums all night and very little bass, but at least I had a great view of Chrissie and James Walbourne all night. Here’s my recording of the encores in a single take including this song, Mystery Achievement. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6ucgXabjsRkqtEsi=5hFldZ64AP29czFx

No one on the planet - including his beautiful daughter - can sing this song as the late great Donny Hathaway. I love Stevie Wonder. But when I first heard Donny Hathaway’s voice so many decades ago, I was mesmerized, hooked, and a lifetime fan. At 74 Donny’s voice still brings tears to my eyes. I’m gonna dip out and put Donny on. Thanks for sharing.❤
