Same, was thinking Rogue as I enjoyed DAI's Human Rogue as my first playthrough but also my Knight Enchanter was fun to play. Being able to kill a dragon with 3 tanks, One being Iron Bull and 2 of them being MAGES haha (me and Vivienne) was great fun.

Depending on release date and my free time, I'm thinking of streaming it from the beginning!

It sure does, very strange that they did this.

It was for everybody that was expecting Solas to be the bad guy we'd hunt for the entire game. Wrong expectations only lead to frustration, no matter how good the game is. They know people will need to have the right expectations for it to succeed. And that article makes very clear what to expect from the game: a Double Blight and Solas as an advisor we get to hate or like throughout our journey.

@@LucasRhodan I’m just messing with ya, and honestly I like it better than Dreadwolf (even as awesome as that sounds) because it opens up what the game is about and what we are facing!

I do plan on at least a review once released. I'm also glad they changed things, it's always been the case for the games. compare the three games with each other and they barely resemble each other, so I don't get where people are coming from with their "this doesn't look like DA anymore!"

Varric certainly looked different, whether it's for better or worse remains to be seen. As for the writing, I think it's a bit extreme to compare it to Borderlands 3 right now, given with how little we've seen so far. Once we know more, it'll be easier to liken it to something.

@@LucasRhodan Considering how Bioware operates now and then you got Anthem and Andromeda, I’d say its more of an educated guess with how itll be, rather than extreme. Like SAINTS ROW reboot came to mind when I saw the new companions you get. Now I hope I’m wrong, that even with jank art design the writing can be good. I just have no faith it will be considering their last two flops. Not to mention you had Baldur’s Gate 3 set the bar pretty damn high, that itll now get compared to the moment it releases. At the end of the day, I’m just glad they forgot about Jade Empire. Solid game that never needs to be rebooted, so theres no potential for it to be put through the chipper. Welcome back by the way.

Thank you! I'd expect them to say as much, unlikely they'd tell everyone openly that they don't care about M&K players :D but even if it controls worse, it's so easy to play games with a controller these days, so there is always that option as well!
