My steering wheel and key/ignition have been locked for two days. I parked and went in my house to grab something, came back to the car and now the wheel won’t budge and the key won’t turn. I’ve spent 3 hours yanking the steering wheel in either direction and trying to get the key to turn, but nope. What could cause this total lockout? Any solution other than calling a locksmith?

so you're saying the hybrid goes further per full tank of gas, BUT the plug-in can fully be used for routine short commutes (22 miles each way or 44 round trip) thereby all you'd need to do is keep topping off the battery. 12 hours for Standard plug or under 4 hours with a Level 2 charger.
