I 100% agree about signing one big guy with some strength. Got Anosike Ementa in my danish save and he just bullies everyone in the air. 6' 8 and 17 strength leads to 21 goals in 37 matches. And soooo many last second corner kick headers into the net. Also got Isaak Touré in another save, he had done the same as Alvero did in that save. 6' 7 and 16 strength does the trick.

Been watching this save for awhile now and it made me want to start a save in South America, so I've headed to Ecuador and I've not had this much fun playing FM in along time, getting out of my comfort zone (Europe/England) has really ignited a new love for the game especially we've gotta put up with it for another 8 or 9 months!

If you want a challenge I would recommend picking a team from the Northern or Northeastern region of Brazil. They got through the same ordeal as São Bernardo, playing state league, national league, national cup, continental stuff, etc. BUT they also play a regional cup. The Northeast region is stronger, probably the 2nd or 3rd strongest region in Brazil. Fortaleza, Sport, Bahia, Ceará, Vitória are all from there. If you want an underdog you could go for Santa Cruz, CSA, Náutico, etc. Picking a team from a weaker domestic league could be fun too, the Libertadores will be very challenging.

Yeah man, keeping the stars gonna be hard, I had a save in Uruguay once and it was a mess, for some reason Newcastle was interested in everyone in my team, they stole like 3 of my best players within two years lol

This is an amazing save, especially after two snoozes in Premiership. But I also have a feeling that Z wants to end the save as soon as possible, so these wonderkids kinda don't mean anything 😅

I mean I think the goal was to make Sao Bernardo the best team in Sao Paulo and he's on the verge to make them the best team in South America. If he gets a quadruple, maybe one more season just to play the Club World Cup and try to retain the crown(s) and pretty much that's it. A break and then another 3 month save later in the year sounds fantastic imho, somewhere in Asia where I don't think he's been lately, if ever.

Man, he knows the history of Yuri Lima? The guy that betrayed his wife, one most famous and beautiful singers in Brazil (Iza) while he played in a small club as a reserve (Mirassol). She was pregnant and it was kind of scandalous, because a guy from a popular tabloid in Brazil told she of that betrayal. Months after a massive support that she had from people, they reconciled, but she force he to retire and work for her. Most people joke about that decision, because he was not that good and it wasn't even playing. Playing professional football for him was a burden.
