I have a doubt, sir, The unit of 'l' is already in meters, why do we need to divide it by 1000? As per the formula, 'l' has to be in meters for the unit to be J/s.
@ChandanSharma-zn3ib2 ай бұрын
Dear we have divided that by 1000 to convert diameter of cylinder in meters so that when we obtain diameter of cylinder, that will be in mm. If we do not divided it by 1000, we need to keep area also in m^2 and diameter obtained will be in meters

Sir In the second question ,while converting life from million rev. to hours, what is the value of "N" which is taken, as the rpms are not constant but changing throughout the working of bearing.
@chandansharma60654 жыл бұрын
Since N1 plus N2 is 600 revolutions and cycle is of 30 seconds, so RPM (N) shall be 1200 and the same needs to be put while converting Life in million revolutions to Life in Hours.
